The employer must clearly mention this information in the email or the query form. You cannot breach into someone’s life without that person’s permission. Knowing the employer will perform a background check, the job applicants will hide nothing. If as an employer, you do anything without taking the consent from the job applicant that is wrong.

Employers must hire a reliable background team.

Business owners have multiple things to focus on. Adding the background check tasks to it would not be a sensible decision because that will also need serious attention. One more thing, you do not hire new people daily, but you will need to hire a permanent team that you will need to pay every month. On the other hand, if you hire a third party for this job, you will need to pay a certain amount for the task, and they will do it with full responsibility.
